Forrest Wayne Doebler, Age 92 of Eagleville passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 22, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion L. Doebler, and by his brother, Rudy, as well as his parents, the late Clarence and Celia Doebler, originally of Penns Creek, PA. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked in education his whole life and retired as a guidance counselor at Methactoon High School. He volunteered at Norristown Senior Adult Activity Center delivering Meals-On-Wheels for over 20 years. He is survived by 4 children, Deanna Lorraine (Lori) Jackson, David Mark Doebler, Darrell Glenn Doebler and Alan Kent Doebler and 1 brother, Donald Doebler. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing from 2-3 pm Friday, July 25, followed by a service at 3 pm at Lower Providence Presbyterian Church located at 3050 West Main Street, Eagleville, PA 19403. Interment will be private. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mr. Doebler’s name to Senior Adult Activity Center, 536 George St., Norristown, PA 19401 or Old Norriton Church, care of Lower Providence Presbyterian Church.
