Frances M. (Kappler) Barbaretta passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 22, 2019 in Washington, DC. She was 83. Mrs. Barbaretta was formerly a resident of Audubon, PA. She worked as a Registered Nurse for the former Montgomery Hospital and Sacred Heart Hospitals, both in Norristown, PA. Frances was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Church in Audubon and Pennsylvanians for Human Life. Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 29, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Marguerite (McGarrigle) Kappler; and the wife of the late Albert C. Barbaretta, Jr., who died in 2000. Surviving is her loving family including a daughter, Marguerite A. Levy and her husband, Charles, of Plantation, FL; a son, Joseph C. Barbaretta and his wife, Sylvia, of Dumfries, VA; 5 grandchildren: Elizabeth A. Smith, Albert Barbaretta, Jacqueline Barbaretta, Philip Carron and Wendy Carron; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a brother, George Kappler and her sisters, Margaret Kirschmann, Katherine Greway and Theresa O'Reilly. Relatives & friends are invited to Frances’ Entombment at St. Patrick's Cemetery Mausoleum, 2400 DeKalb Pike, E. Norriton Twp., PA on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 12 noon.
