Frances A. (Logan) Pierce

Frances A. (Logan) Pierce passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Mercy Suburban Hospital in Norristown, PA. She was 86. Mrs. Pierce worked for many years as a licensed Practical Nurse. Born in Hummelstown, PA on May 4, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Ralph and Katherine (Lentz) Logan. Surviving is her loving family including two sons, James J. (Elaine) Smith, Jr. of Blue Bell, PA and David A. Smith of Pottstown, PA; a brother, John Logan of Altoona, PA; two sisters, Wilma Simonton of Oklahoma City, OK and Jane Weber of Albuquerque, NM; two grandchildren, Megan E. Harkin and Shannon E. Copenhaver; and two great-grandchildren, Colin Harkin and Emma Harkin. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 25 years, James Smith, her second husband, John Belshaw, and her third husband, Walter Pierce; and two brothers, Wayne Logan and Ralph Logan, Jr.Funeral services and interment are private at the request of the family.
