Francesco "Frank" Dirubbo

Francesco “Frank” DiRubbo passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at his residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 78. Mr. DiRubbo graduated in Italy with a naval engineer degree. He worked as a custodial engineer for the former Atochem North America in King of Prussia, PA. Frank was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA and the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. He was an avid gardener and wine maker who also enjoyed soccer and the Philadelphia Eagles. Most of all, Frank loved spending time with his family. Born in Casalduni, Provincia di Benevento, Italy on August 11, 1938, he was a son of the late Michele and Antonietta (Iadanza) DiRubbo. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 48 years, Josephine “Pina” (Romano) DiRubbo; two daughters, Daniela Custer and her husband, John, of King of Prussia, PA and Gabriela Raffa and her husband, Frank, of King of Prussia, PA; two grandchildren, Michael & Gina; a sister, Concetta Mastrocola and her husband, Gino, of Rome, Italy; and many other loving family members. Relatives & friends are invited to Frank’s Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 10:30 am. His viewing is Saturday morning from 9 to 10:20 am, at the church. Entombment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery Mausoleum, E. Norriton Twp., PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Frank’s memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Delaware Valley Chapter, One Reed St., Suite 200, Philadelphia, PA 19147.
