Franchesca L. Jones

Franchesca “Fran” L. Jones passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2023 in Philadelphia, PA. Fran was a resident of Norristown, PA and worked as a telephone operator for Jefferson Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia.

Born in Jackson, MS on December 17, 1972, she was the daughter of the late Lillie Young and the late James Bennett; as well as step-daughter to James Young.

Fran is survived by her loving family including two brothers, James E. Jones (Kelly) and Jason E. Young; her sister, Amber N. Young (fiancé Shane); two nephews, Elijah Jones and Mason Liberty; a niece, Sierra Davis; Aunts & Uncles, Ann Jones (Aquanza), Ben Jones, Mildred Jones Young (Clifton), Ivory Jones (Karen), Michael Jones (Beverly), Patrick Jones (Patsy), Shirley Jones Weathersby (Alexander), and Roselyn Jones; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Fran is preceded in death by her uncle, Robert Jones, Sr. and her aunt Gail E. Jones.

Fran’s viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St. Bridgeport, PA 19405 from 10:00-11:00am, with her funeral service beginning at 11:00am. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, W. Conshohocken.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Fran’s memory to the Young and Jones Family.
