In loving memory of the one and only Francis J Costello Jr.! A man who lived his life to the fullest and never missed an opportunity to make everyone laugh and feel inspired. He may have left us on April 3rd, 2024, but his legacy will continue to shine bright for generations to come.
Frank, a true son of the city of Philadelphia, served his country with pride and then went on to work with JDM materials. However, his true passion was his family. His beloved wife Woodie Costello was his rock for 42 incredible years. Frank also had five amazing children, Frankie (Heather), Kevin (Lisa), Misty (Chris), Adam Steven Costello (Jennifer), and Patrick. And let's not forget his twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who adored him.
Frank was a man of many talents and names! He was known as Father, Dad, Pop-pop, Uncle Frank, Frank, Ricky, Fred, and Mr. C. He was a master of jokes, an inspiration expert, and a legend in storytelling. His childhood stories were fascinating, and his locked basement was a treasure trove of memories. He loved his Jack Daniels, his Harley Davidson, and his music. He was a true hippie at heart and a member of the Artisans Fox Chase group. He was also a troop leader for a local Boy Scouts of America troop and a member of the Knights of Columbus, where he earned his fourth degree.
Frank's passion for riding his Harley Davidson was infectious, and he started a group called the IBA. His son Adam, granddaughter (Kaelyn) and grandson (Gabe) also learned his ways, and they will forever carry on his passion for riding. Frank's annual vacations with his grandchildren and Woodie were unforgettable, and his senior trips with friends were legendary.
Frank Costello Jr. was a unique soul who made everyone feel happy, happy, happy! His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come. Rest in peace, Frank!
Frank will be reunited with his Father Francis, Mother Irene, his granddaughter Brianna, and his best friend Barney. His family and friends will deeply miss him, and his memory will forever be cherished in their hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the funeral home, which will be used to plant native trees in Frank's honor.
