Francis 'Frank' Dempster

Mr. Francis Dempster, 89, of Bensalem passed away peacefully on Monday, March 14th, 2011.     Frank was born in Clydebank, Scotland, on October 1, 1921, the son of the late John Wilson and Elizabeth (Ferguson) Dempster.  He worked as a Tool Maker at Lavelle Aircraft and retired in 1987. He mostly worked with JJ Nesbitt in Heating and Ventilation.  He was the honorary recipient of the Dux Medal from the Royal Air Force.  He was the husband of Mary Anne (Hughes) Dempster for 69 years. They married on February 20, 1942.  Loving father of John (Anne), Brian (Beth) and the late Anne Kustes. Devoted Pe-Pop of Jilien Gordon (Chad), Heather McCann (Jack), John (Nathalia) and Emily Wilson. Great Pe-Pop of Erin, Arden, Lyla, Leah and Kalina. Dear friend of Shirley DeNofa.  Relatives, friends and members of Neshaminy Activity Center for seniors, are invited to his Viewing Thursday, 10-11 A.M. and Religious Service 11 A.M. at HOFFMAN FUNERAL HOME, Hulmeville Rd. at Brown Ave., Bensalem, PA 19020.
