Francis Edward Henderson

Francis Edward Henderson, 70, of Philadelphia, PA passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Francis was born in Upper Darby, PA on January 25, 1954, a son of the late Selena (Galante) and Francis T. Henderson.

He was the husband of Julia E. Henderson (nee Burns). Loving father of Carolyn Nino (Eric Nino SIL), Lisa Henderson and Kayla Henderson.

Francis is also survived by his sister Anne Henderson, nieces Suzanna Gashinsky, Briane Gashinsky, great niece Shyanna Gashinsky and great nephew Gabriel Matos. He is survived by 7 grandchildren as well, Bryson Nino, Riley Billheimer, Skylar Henderson, Ryder Hill, Damon Nino, Elliott Nino and Axel Hill. He leaves behind many friends of the family that were like children to him as well. He loved everyone immensely and always checked in on everyone.

He loved hanging out on his back porch watching his cat Thor hunt in the yard. He enjoyed fishing, especially with the kids. Frank really liked to hangout and watch the Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Philadelphia Flyers. For anyone that knew him his catch phrases were “How you Be?!” Or “Uh Oh” and those words will be missed by all. He really enjoyed interacting with people and could make you laugh. His favorite thing was to just be around his kids.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
