Francis J. “Frank” Janoski, Jr. passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at his residence in Gulph Mills, PA. He was 75. Frank was a lifelong Upper Merion resident and a 1959 graduate of Upper Merion High School and attended Villanova University. He worked for the former Alan Wood Steel Company, and later founded the Upper Merion Electric Company. He was also vice-president of F.J. Janoski Petroleum Company. Frank was a member of the Independent Electrical Contractors Assoc., the Montgomery County Electrical Assoc., the Brigantine Elks Lodge and the Board of the Coquille Beach Assoc. Frank was an avid train enthusiast and collector, a German Shepherd lover, and enjoyed traveling and summers at Brigantine Beach. He was fun loving, humorous and easily made friends. Most of all, Frank was a loving and devoted family man and friend. Born in Norristown, PA on October 19, 1941, he was a son of the late Francis J. Janoski, Sr. and Mary (Ewanick) Janoski. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 53 years, Ann H. (Harclerode) Janoski; a son, Michael F. (Rachelle) Janoski of Doylestown, PA; two daughters, Kristine A. (Gerard) Cerchio of Audubon, PA and Kimberly L. (James) Nadwodny of Phoenixville, PA; six grandchildren: Elizabeth and Michael Janoski, Jr., Gennaro and Jacqueline Cerchio, and Marina and Justin Nadwodny; a brother, Robert (Ann) Janoski of Barto, PA; two sisters, Kathy (Jerry) Brady and Marilyn (Tom) Rapine, both of King of Prussia, PA; a sister-in-law, Regina Janoski of King of Prussia, PA; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Janoski. Relatives & friends are invited to Frank’s Divine Liturgy at SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 519 Union Ave. Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Msgr. Dr. Ronald Popivchak, Pastor. His viewing will be Wednesday morning from 9 to 10:50 am, at the church. Interment will be on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 11:00 am, in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Frank’s memory to the Brigantine Elks Lodge 2428, 400 W Shore Dr., Brigantine, NJ 08203.
