Francis A. "Frank" Miller

Francis Allen “Frank” Miller Jr. passed away peacefully on Friday, July 2, 2021 at his residence in Bridgeport, PA. He was 74. Mr. Miller was a disabled vet who proudly served his country during the Vietnam Era in both the US Army and the Marine Corps. Frank earned numerous medals as well as three Purple Hearts. He was a graduate of Norristown High School where he was a good baseball player and held a record in track. Frank enjoyed watching horse races, Sprint car and NASCAR racing. He was a huge Penn State fan and loved all high school and college football. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Norristown, PA on April 16, 1947, he was a son of the late Francis Allen Miller Sr. and Betty (Pigeon) Miller. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 30 years in September, Georgia (Bontempo) Miller; daughter, Ashley M. Miller; brother, George F. Miller and his wife, Jane; two sisters, Betty Swanson and Florence Theresa “Terrie” Shore; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marguerite Miller and Eva Marie Miller. Relatives and friends are invited to Frank’s viewing at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb Street, Bridgeport, PA on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 10 to 10:50 am; with a Prayer Service starting at 11:00 am.
