Francis R. (Fran) Bruno

Francis R. (Fran) Bruno, 85, of Boyertown, PA passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, February 26th 2024 at Reading Hospital, after a brief illness.

Born on September 17th, 1938 to the late James and Marcella (Rose) Bruno. Fran grew up in Ambler, PA before moving to the Trooper area, where he resided in until 2010, before moving to Boyertown, PA. Fran was the successful business owner of Best Lawn Company for many years until 2023. Along with being a successful business owner, it was no secret that he was a hard worker and took pride in all that he accomplished in and out of work. He always needed to make the work exceed his expectations for his loyal customers.

His favorite thing to do was to be outdoors, hunting. Sitting in his treestand for hours on end brought him much joy, even if he missed that buck! For many years, he would drive out to Equality, IL to go hunting with his best buddy and hunting partner, Britt Williams, who owns a hunting camp. In his younger years, Fran was an avid bowler and a softball player.

Fran is survived by his 4 children, Mia (Elliott) Jelinski, Francesca (Christopher) Santillo, Francis Bruno, Jr and Alexis Bruno; his 3 grandchildren; Bently, Kennedy and Gianna; his brother James (longtime companion, Karen), and Richard Bruno.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Marcella Bruno and his sister Maureen (Bruno) Fiorillo.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 Dekalb Street, Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024 from 4-6PM.
