Francis J. Wilson

Francis J. Wilson passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 8, 2013, surrounded by his loving family at Neighborhood VNA Inpatient Hospice in West Chester, PA. He was 74. Mr. Wilson was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service for over 30 years. Francis was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. Mr. Wilson was a US Army veteran. Born in Philadelphia, PA on November 9, 1938, he was a son of the late James and Anne (Martin) Wilson. He was the husband of the late Helen C. (Zimmer) Wilson, who died in 2010. Surviving is his loving family including a son, Francis J. Wilson of King of Prussia, PA; four daughters: Kimberly D. Spotts and her husband, Daniel, of Salisbury, MD, Kathleen D. Harvey and her husband, Matthew, of King of Prussia, PA, Karen D. Andrews and her husband, Thomas, of West Chester, PA and Kristen D. Doran and her husband, David, of Malvern, PA; nine grandchildren: Logan, Madalyn, Aidan, Matthew, Carson, Jason, James, Joshua and Jared; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Wilson. Francis' Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 10:30 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 9 to 10:20 am, at the church.
