Frank J. Bruno, 75, of Norristown, PA, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Born in Lyndhurst, NJ, on June 6, 1951, and raised in Garfield, NJ Frank was the son of the late Nancy M. (Paluzzi) Bruno and Lewis R. Bruno. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lewis R. Bruno Jr.; his brother, Gerald Bruno; and his brother-in-law, Timothy Walters. He was a devoted member of Visitation BVM Church in Norristown.
Frank earned his MBA from Temple University and worked as an HR Labor Relations Executive for over 40 years in both the automotive manufacturing and aerospace industries. Though he found success in his career, his greatest passion was sports. He served as a PIAA official for both football and baseball for over 20 years, as a frequent coach for his sons’ sports teams, and as an avid fan of all Philly sports.
Frank was a loving father and is survived by his two sons, Matthew (Niki) Bruno, of Wilmington, NC and Christian (Stephanie) Bruno, of Pinellas Park, FL. He is also survived by sister, Rosanna Walters; brother Joseph (Kim) Bruno; grandson, Silas Bruno; girlfriend, BJ McVey; and many adored nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home, 101 N. Park Ave., Trooper, PA. A second viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Visitation BVM Church, 196 Trooper Road, Norristown, PA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 AM.
Interment will be at Washington Memorial Chapel in King of Prussia, PA.
