Frank J Casper

Francis J. (Frank) Casper, age 89, of Collegeville, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Frank was born in Upper Darby, PA on September 23, 1932 to the late Frank and Mary (nee Keane) Casper. He was the eldest of five children; Margaret (Joseph) Welsh, Mary (James) Maloney, Stephen (Frannie) Casper and Joseph Casper. Frank served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Upon returning home, he had a long, established career at Wyeth Laboratories in Radnor, PA. Frank met his wife Mary (nee Devitt) who was originally from Limerick, Ireland, while they both attended night school at Chestnut Hill College. One of the many things that he loved was his wife's sense of humor who frequently reminded him that he "ruined her career" because they married shortly after meeting each other at night school. Frank is survived by his five children, Robert & Hollie (Shoals), Margaret (Gigi) Casper, Martha & Bob Buono, Frank & Dawn (Rosecrans), and John Neumann and his seven grandchildren, Ryan and Brendan Casper, Ernest, Anthony and Nicholas Buono, Mary and Frankie Casper. Frank was a caring, quiet and kind man who was deeply devoted to his religion, family and friends. He will be sorely missed by his adoring family, and will always be celebrated through his stories, love and laughter. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11:15 am Friday, April 8, 2022, followed by a Funeral Mass 11:30 am at Visitation BVM Upper Church, 196 N. Trooper Rd., Eagleville, Pa 19403. Interment will be private at St. John Neumann Cemetery.
