Frank R. "Gabby" DiGiambattista passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, with his loving family by his side at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. He was 88. Mr. DiGiambattista was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA and the Montgomery County Farm Bureau. He was a graduate of Upper Merion High School, Class of 1942. Frank was a life-long resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a dairy farmer who owned and operated Nor-View Farm in King of Prussia. Frank was born and raised on the farm and went there every day even after it was purchased by Upper Merion Twp. He loved the farm and enjoyed talking to people who went there for spring water, ice cream and to feed the animals.Born in King of Prussia, PA on July 22, 1924, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Battista (Pierluigi) DiGiambattista. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 62 years, Dolores (Bruno) DiGiambattista; two sons, Ken F. DiGiambattista of Royersford, PA and Frank P. Battista and his wife, June, of Phoenixville, PA; a daughter, Judy Iannella and her husband, Gino, of Eagleville, PA; seven grandchildren: Gina, Lori, Tom, Lauren, Kevin, Dominic and Michael; three great-grandchildren: Ryan, Ella & Alex; and many nephews and nieces.He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Battista and Albert DiGiambattista; and a sister, Gisella DiGiambattista. Relatives & friends are invited to Frank's Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St. Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 10:00 am. His viewings will be Monday evening from 6 to 8:00 pm, at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA; also Tuesday morning from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.Memorial contributions may be made in Frank's memory to the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Memorial Fund, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 and/or in the form of Mass Cards from the above church.www.bacchifuneralhome.com
