Frank Katarynick Jr.

Frank Katarynick, Jr. passed away peacefully on Monday, January 8, 2024 at his residence in King of Prussia, PA surrounded by his loving family. He was 80. Mr. Katarynick was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bridgeport, PA. He worked as a purchasing manager with Fluid Power Inc. for 39 years. He was a graduate of Upper Merion High School, class of 1961, and received his Bachelors Degree from Temple University School of Engineering. Frank was a member of the Montgomery County String Band, The Ukrainian American String Band, Montgomery County Youth Advisory Panel, Upper Merion Class of 1961 Alumni Group, and was a longtime committeeman and usher at SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Church. Frank was also a Philadelphia and Temple University Sports Enthusiast.

Born in Norristown, PA on April 6, 1943, he was a son of the late Frank T. and Catherine (nee Stelmack) Katarynick, Sr. Frank was the beloved husband of Sandra (nee Rudyk) Katarynick, with whom he was married to for 57 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving family including his son, Kevin Katarynick (Linda); two daughters, Lisa Katarynick and Lynn Drumbore (Michael); three grandchildren, Eva Drumbore, Henry Drumbore, and James Wright; his sister, Kathleen Linsemaer (Richard); his brother-in-law, Mark Rudyk (Deborah); as well as many other loving family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Frank’s viewing on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 6-8 pm at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St. Bridgeport, PA 19405. His Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 11:00 am at SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Church, 519 Union Ave. Bridgeport, PA 19405. Interment will be in SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
