Frank Tornetta passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. He was 85. Mr. Tornetta was a resident of King of Prussia PA. He worked as a food distributor for the former Fleming Foods in Oaks, PA. Frank was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. Mr. Tornetta was a US Army veteran of WWII, serving in the European Theatre of Operations. Born in Norristown, PA on January 10, 1926, he was a son of the late Charles and Stella (Matkowski) Tornetta. He was the husband of the late Thelma E. (Melchiorre) Tornetta, who died June 15, 2011. Surviving is his loving family including three sons, Charles Tornetta and his wife, Jennifer of Sayerville, NJ, John J. Tornetta of Wayne, PA and Frank M. Tornetta and his wife, Monica of Malvern, PA; five grandchildren: Jennifer, Brad, Denise, Christine and Kelly and a step-grandchild, Paul; five great-grandchildren: Justin, Samantha, Bella, Michael and Italia; a brother, John Tornetta and his wife, Lillian of Trooper, PA; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carmela Tornetta.
