Gaetano Guy' Debiasio

Gaetano "Guy" DeBiasio passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Rittenhouse Pine Center in Norristown, PA. He was 93. Mr. DeBiasio was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. He was a self employed barber who owned Guy's Barber Shop in Bridgeport, PA for over 30 years. Guy was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA and a former member of their Holy Name Society.Born in San Giuliano, Italy on October 5, 1917, he was a son of the late Tomasso and Cristina (Fontanello) DeBiasio. Guy was the husband of the late Ida (DeSpirito) DeBiasio, who died in 1990.Surviving is his loving family including two sons, Thomas J. DeBiasio and his wife, Tammy of Oaks, PA and Francis "Frank" A. DeBiasio and his wife, Melissa of Malvern, PA; four grandchildren: Thomas, Dino, Jon and Dominic; four great-grandchildren: Thomas, Nicolette, Joseph and Melia. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 10:00am. Internment will be at St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. His viewings will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 8pm at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 and Thursday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Guy's memory to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.
