Gary John Sorendino

Gary J. Sorendino, 65, of Warrington, PA passed away Saturday, October 1st, 2022 while in the company of family, at his residence.

Gary was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 16, 1957. Beloved husband of Karen (Curry); loving father of Joseph, Anthony, Gary, and Lisa; predeceased by his parents Lucy (Manes) and Joseph Sorendino, brother Joseph A. Sorendino, and nephew Matthew Roakes; dear brother of Linda Toth (Richard), and Arlene Roakes (Michael); brother-in-law of Madge Sorendino; uncle of Michael Toth (Dawn), Michael Roakes (Gina), Gina Vincent, Teresa Macry (Matt), Maria Evans (Scott), and Donna Sorendino; nephew of Jane Sorendino and Sandra Bilinski. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Gary will be sadly missed by the entire Sorendino, Manes, and Curry families and lastly by his beloved grand-dog Arlo.

Relatives, friends, members of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters of Philadelphia, and all of Gary’s teammates from his various softball and baseball leagues, are invited to a viewing on Sunday October 9 from 1 PM to 3 PM at Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home 1770 Brown Ave. at Hulmeville Rd in Bensalem, PA and to a viewing on Monday from 10 - 11:15 AM at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church at 1410 Almshouse Rd. in Jamison, PA; where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM.

His interment will follow at St. Dominic Cemetery 8504 Frankford Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19136.
