Gavin Lee Caban

Gavin Lee Caban, 24, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Pottstown, PA on February 14th, 2025. Born at Paoli Memorial Hospital on May 27th, 2000, he was the beloved first-born son of Andrea Fanfera and Greg Caban.

Gavin is lovingly remembered by his mother, Andrea Fanfera and her partner, Jeffrey Owens; his father Greg Caban and stepmother Kristina Caban; his maternal grandmother Vaune Bruno and great grandmother Virginia Fanfera; his paternal grandparents Michele and Tony Longo; his six adoring siblings, Eli, Garret, Alanna, Raina, Adele and Levi; his aunt Elizabeth, aunt Vivian, aunt Marissa, uncle Brian, great uncle Leonard Andrien and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. Gavin is predeceased by his maternal grandfathers Blair Fanfera and Joseph Bruno; paternal grandfather Steven Caban; maternal great grandfather, Frank Fanfera, and his dear uncle James Fanfera.

As a young boy, Gavin excelled at playing sports including wrestling, soccer, baseball and football. He loved to go hiking on outdoor adventures with his family. He was an enthusiastic hunter and fisherman. As a teenager, Gavin developed a passion for art, pottery and music. He was talented at writing and recording his own music and sharing it with his family. Gavin also enjoyed time at home surrounded by his brothers, family and friends.

Gavin graduated from Owen J. Roberts in 2019. He recently worked for CVS pharmacy as a hard-working pharmacy technician. He had goals and aspirations to be a pharmacist. Gavin had a great sense of humor, was extremely funny and a jokester, as well as charming with an infectious smile. This handsome guy will be missed dearly.

A funeral service will be held in his memory on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 at Calvary Chapel Chester Springs, 217 Dowlin Forge Road, Exton, PA 19341 with a 10:00am family visitation followed by 11:00am service.
