Geno M. Vaccarello

Geno M. Vaccarello passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at ManorCare Health Services in King of Prussia, PA. He was 72. Mr. Vaccarello was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He was retired as a mail handler for the US Post Office. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in King of Prussia, PA. Geno was a happy-go-lucky, quiet man who enjoyed being with people. He was a special child of God who had many difficulties throughout his life, but he always had a smile. He enjoyed watching TV, sports, old movies and the simpler things in life. Geno especially liked spending time with his family and especially his grand-nephews and nieces. Born in Needham, Mass on April 28, 1938, he was a son of the late Biagio and Maria (Nunno) Vaccarello and brother of the late Vincent Vaccarello. Surviving is his loving family including a sister-in-law, Marilyn Vaccarello of King of Prussia, PA; a nephew, Michael Vaccarello and his wife, Michelle of Clayton, NC; two nieces, Mary Kay Wunsch and her husband, William of Furlong, PA and Marcia Griffith and her husband, Art of Phoenixville, PA; seven great-nephews and nieces: Marie, Anthony, Antonio, Maria, Vincenzo, Will and Dakota.Relatives & friends are invited to his Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Route 202), Bridgeport, PA on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 10:30am. His viewing is Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:20am, at the funeral home. Interment will be private in Royal Palm Gardens, West Palm Beach, FL.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Geno's memory to the Upper Merion School District Special Education Department, 435 Crossfield Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 and/or the Special Olympics, 2570 Boulevard of the Generals, Norristown, PA 19403.
