George C. Bullwinkle

George C. Bullwinkle passed away on July 5, 2023, in Pottstown, surrounded by his loving family. He was 87. George was married to the late Marsha L. (Peterson) Bullwinkle, who passed away earlier this year in May. George was formerly of King of Prussia, PA and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. He received a Masters in Divinity from Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia and a professional degree in engineering. He was a member of The United States Army, worked as a Lutheran Minister, served as a missionary in Liberia and eventually retired as an engineer working for Selas Fluid Processing Company.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 13, 1935, to the late George A. and Kathryn (Murray) Bullwinkle.

George is survived by his daughters: Mary Beth Bullwinkle of King of Prussia, PA, Ruth Bullwinkle of Davis, West Virginia, Anna Malloy and her husband Brian of Douglassville, PA, and Elizabeth Bullwinkle of Towson, MD; 3 grandchildren, Steven Bullwinkle, Logan Malloy and Caitlin Malloy; as well as many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Bath.

Family and friends are invited to George’s viewing on Tuesday July 11, 2023, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 132 E. Valley Forge Rd. King of Prussia, from 10:00-10:50am, followed by his funeral service starting at 11:00 am.

Interment will be private.
