George H Chittenden Jr.

George H Chittenden, Jr. of Newtown Square, PA passed away on January 30, 2021 at the age of 76. George was a longtime member of St George’s Church in Ardmore, PA and had been involved over the years in many of their outreach programs. He enjoyed writing and gardening and volunteering at Longwood Gardens and Garrett Williamson. George is survived by his wife Alice Chittenden, daughters Katharine Chittenden (Ruhi Agharabi) and Hilary Klatsky (Carl) and sons Benjamin Chittenden (Megan) and Michael Chittenden (Danielle). He was the loving grandfather of Ben Klatsky, Theo Agharabi, Colby Chittenden and Charlotte Chittenden. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Family and friends will be notified. Contributions in George’s memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
