George Alvin Ruminer, a resident of Bensalem, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. He was 76 years old. His life was marked by diverse experiences and meaningful connections.
George was born in the Philippines on March 26, 1948. He was the son of the late Constancia (Yongzon) and David Lee Ruminer.
George served in the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Air Force, a chapter of his life that allowed him to explore the world and connect with people from various backgrounds. His military service took him to different corners of the globe, and he cherished the opportunity to travel and experience new cultures. He loved his country!
George had a penchant for shopping during his travels, often sending back thoughtful gifts while stationed overseas.
George embraced Jesus as his loving savior, finding solace and purpose in his faith.
George valued spending time outdoors, basking in the beauty of the universe. The sun, sky, and nature provided him with moments of reflection and serenity. He believed in the power of clean food and surrounded himself with good people. George’s pursuit of happiness was simple: he embraced life, finding joy in the little things.
George leaves behind a legacy carried by his three children: Stacey, Christine, and Eric; and two grandchildren: Bobby and Dre’a.
May his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to those who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to say their final goodbye to George on Wednesday, April 24, from 9:00 am-10:00 am at the Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home, 1770 Brown Ave., Bensalem, PA. Followed by his Funeral Mass starting at 10:30 am held at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA.
His final resting place will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 10:30 am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
The family will hold a private luncheon after the interment on Thursday.
