George Grant Russian

G. Grant Russian, 62, of Devon, PA, died peacefully at home on March 27, 2026.

Grant grew up in Grand Blanc, Michigan, son of George Russian and the late Charlotte E. Russian. He was an all-star wrestler and football player in high school, then attended Michigan State University. A lifelong Spartans fan, he was passionate about his home team and could often be found pacing and cheering in front of the TV during football and basketball games.

One of his first jobs as a Packaging Science Engineer brought him to the Philadelphia area, where he met his wife, Jenny. They spent many happy years together raising their son, Spencer, of whom Grant was extremely proud. Surrounded by close friends and family, they built a beautiful life together. He enjoyed golfing with friends, spending time at the Jersey and Delaware beaches, as well as traveling the world during his successful 30-year career in the pharmaceutical industry.

Grant was easy-going and generous until the very end. He especially loved his Airedale Terrier, Zimmy, who kept him on (and off) his feet! His dedicated care team enjoyed his friendly attitude and hilarious, though most likely embellished, stories.

He is survived by his wife, Jenny (Bricker) Russian. Son, Spencer G. Russian, father, George Russian, brother-in-law, Jeff Bricker (Toni), niece, Maggie Bricker and nephew, Max Bricker.
