George Yip

George Yip passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 78. Mr. Yip worked as a machinist for the Philadelphia Gear Corporation until his retirement. He then worked at Conshohocken Ford and finally at Costco in King of Prussia, PA. Born in Rangoon, Burma on March 24, 1936, he was a son of Ah Goon Yip and Nyan Yein Chan. Surviving is his loving family including his wife, Rosie Chu Yip; a daughter, Nolana Yip and her husband, Keith Ward; a grandchild, Spencer George Yip-Ward; a brother, Henry Yip; six sisters: Yoke Kaing Yip, Ngok Chaing Yip, Margaret Hwee, Lily Yip Hoi, Esther Yip and Elizabeth Yip. He was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Yip, and a sister, Kim Phain Yip.George's Funeral Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 10:30 am. His viewing is Sunday from 9 to 10:30 am, at the funeral home.
