Gerald A. Dininny

Gerald A. Dininny passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Towne Manor West in Norristown, PA. He was 84. Mr. Dininny was a resident of Norristown. He worked as a regional engineer for the Erie and Conrail Railroads. Gerald was a Freemason 32nd Degree, Pine Lodge. He enjoyed vacationing in the mountains, fishing and dogs, especially his own dog, Patches. Most of all, Gerald loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Born in Elmyra, NY on May 19, 1933, he was a son of the late Robert and Elsie (Woodford) Dininny. He was the husband of the late Phyllis (Gow) Dininny, who died in 2013. Surviving is his loving family including a son, Craig M. Dininny and his wife, Debbie, of Audubon, PA; a daughter-in-law, Teresa Dininny of Audubon, PA; seven grandchildren: Cody, Courtney, Jesse, Nicole, Zach, Ed and David; two great-grandchildren, Austin and Griffin; and many other family members. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey A. Dininny. Gerald’s Funeral Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 10 to 10:50 am, at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
