Gerald Jerry' Granese

Gerald "Jerry" Granese passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Meadows at Shannondell in Audubon, PA. He was 66. Mr. Granese was a resident of W. Norriton, PA. He worked as a bartender at Shannondell in Audubon and previously at his family's restaurant, the former Friendship Grille in Bridgeport, PA. Jerry was a member of St. Augustine R.C. Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Norristown, PA on August 28, 1947, he was a son of the late Joseph S. and Virginia R. (Wassel) Granese. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 29 years, Jeanne (Antonelli) Granese; a daughter, Carla M. Vetterlein and her husband, Mark, of Schwenksville, PA; a grandson, Vincent; a brother, James J. Granese and his wife, Lainie, of Trappe, PA; a sister, Sandra J. Kelly and her husband, Earl, of E. Norriton, PA; and many nephews and nieces. Jerry's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine R.C. Church, 464 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 10:30 am. Officiating will be the Rev. James A. Lyons. The family will receive relatives & friends on Tuesday from 9 to 10:15 am, at the church.
