Gerald F. 'Gerry' Mcdermott

Gerald F. "Gerry" McDermott passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at his residence in W. Conshohocken, PA. He was 63. Mr. McDermott worked as a truck driver for the Cooper Creek Chemical Co. in Conshohocken, PA and also for the Teamsters Local 384 in Norristown, PA. Gerry was an avid golfer. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era.Born in Norristown, PA on July 2, 1949, he was a son of the late Francis X. and Helen B. (Maguire) McDermott. Surviving is his loving family including two daughters, Courtney M. McDermott and Aileen E. McDermott, both of Lansdale, PA; a brother, Francis A. McDermott of E. Norriton, PA; a sister, Celeste MacKinnon of Mays Landing, NJ; and many nephews and nieces.Gerry's Prayer Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Friday, January 4, 2012 at 6:00 pm. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday evening from 5 to 5:50 pm, at the funeral home.
