Geri Baniewicz

Geralyn (Geri) R. Baniewicz, 68, of Ambler, PA passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026 with family by her side.

Born in Philadelphia and formerly of Jenkintown, PA, Geralyn graduated from Bishop McDevitt high school and Thomas Jefferson University. She cherished her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, as well as gardening, the beach, baking, and dining in the city.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen A. Baniewicz; her sons, Steve Baniewicz (Kelly) of Blue Bell, PA, and his children, Parker and Cole; and Chris Baniewicz (Masha) of Philadelphia, PA, and his daughter, Sasha.

Geralyn is the daughter of Laurence and Regina Mooney, and sister to Jean Marie Prinzo (Joe).

A mass will be offered on Friday, October 23rd, at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 604 West Ave. Jenkintown, PA. Family and friends may gather for her visitation from 9:15 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA.
