Gilda Rose (Disebastiano) Cardone

Gilda Rose (DiSebastiano) Cardone passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at her residence in Bridgeport, PA. She was 73. Gilda was the owner/operator of the Dolce Vita Restaurant in Bridgeport for the past 22 years, passing down her recipes to her daughter, Jamie, who is carrying on the family restaurant. Gilda previously owned and operated On Time Cleaners in Bridgeport for 20 years. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Abruzzi, Italy on June 15, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Emilia (DiRenzo) DiSebastiano. She was the wife of the late Victor Cardone, who died in 2000. Surviving is her loving family including a son, Victor Salvatore Cardone and his wife, Gina, of Plymouth Meeting, PA; a daughter, Jamie L. Sally and her husband, Sean, of Pottstown, PA; five grandchildren: Victor Cardone III, Nicholas Cardone, Sean Sally, Jr., Gabriella Sally and John Sally; a brother, Joseph DiSebastiano of Texas; and many other loving family members. Relatives & friends are invited to Gilda’s Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St., Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday June 29, 2016 at 10:30 am. Her viewing will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8:00 pm, also Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 9: 50 am, both at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt 202) Bridgeport, PA.
