Giuseppe Buffa

Giuseppe Buffa passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 27, 2009, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Bridgeport, PA. He was 65. Mr. Buffa worked as a baker for Conshohocken Bakery. He attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born on October 23, 1944 in Carini, Italy, he was a son of the late Giovanni and Francesca (Spatafora) Buffa. Surviving are his loving family including his wife of 38 years, Gina G. (Misuraca) Buffa; 3 sons, Giovanni of Bridgeport, PA, Salvatore of Charlotte, NC and Joseph Jr. of Bridgeport, PA; 3 daughters, Francesca (Chuck) Conigliaro of Ellicott City, MD, Rosaria (Elliott) Miller of Berwick, PA and Christina Buffa of Norristown, PA; 2 grandsons, Vincent and Joseph; 3 brothers, Salvatore (Rosalie) Buffa of Allentown, PA, Vincenzo (Fiffette) Buffa of E. Norriton, PA and Antonio (Piara) Buffa of King of Prussia, PA; 2 sisters, Anna (Jerry) Addalli and Francesca Addalli, both of Bridgeport, PA; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a brother, Francesco Buffa and a brother-in-law, Sebastiano Addalli. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St. Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 10:30am. Entombment in St. Patrick Cemetery Mausoleum, E. Norriton, PA. His viewing will be Thursday morning from 9 to 10:20am, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Giuseppe's memory to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St. Bridgeport, PA 19405.
