Glenn T. Noble, Sr. of Wyncote, PA passed away, Wednesday July 10th, 2019, at his residence. Glenn was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 4, 1944, a son of the late Eleanor (Holzaffel) and Elwood Noble. Beloved husband of Sarah J. (Taggart) Noble, Married on 8/23/1967. Loving father of Kimberly A. Noble, Glenn T. Noble Jr. (Dorothy E.) and Krisden M. Noble. Devoted grandfather of Jeffrey R. Horton, Glenn W. Noble, Justin T. Horton, Nadia D. Noble and Keenan M. Brooks; and the great-grandfather of Nori C. Noble-Williams and dear brother of Elwood ‘Butch’ Noble (Joy). He was a member of Immaculate Conception BVM Church Jenkintown, PA He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Saratoga and as a member of the Squadrons, VA-35 Black Panthers during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Machinist at Metal Goods for over 20 years before retiring. Glenn loved his dog Bailey, the Philadelphia Eagles, college and professional Football, his house in Florida and he enjoyed traveling with his wife. Their travels included Maine to Key West, New Orleans, San Francisco, British Columbia and he absolutely loved Alaska. A Public Viewing will be held Tuesday, July 16th, 2019, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, 507 West Ave. in Jenkintown, PA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, July 16th, 2019, at 11 AM at Immaculate Conception BVM Church in Jenkintown, PA.
