Gloria K. Bosco

Gloria K. (Lenzi) Bosco passed away peacefully on Monday, February 19, 2018, surrounded by her loving family at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. She was 80. Mrs. Bosco was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked in the food service department for the Upper Merion Middle School for 38 years. Gloria was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia. She was a huge Phillies fan and enjoyed going to the casinos and walking the beach. Gloria was generous and kind-hearted and often gave money to the kids who didn’t have any for lunch. She excelled at being a homemaker and was devoted to her family. Gloria was a vibrant, spiritual person with a wonderful sense of humor. Her life was a living example of being kind and compassionate to others. Gloria was loved by all who came in contact with her and she will not easily be forgotten. She prayed for family and friends daily. Gloria has entered her greatest adventure; her song is over, but her music will go on for eternity. Born in Norristown, PA on June 28, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Congetta (Marinari) Lenzi. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 61 years, Richard J. Bosco; two daughters, Judith (Paul) Scotto of Hatfield, PA and Deborah (Stan J. Snow) Kinneer of Sanatoga, PA; six grandchildren: Amanda Bosco, Kristen (Kevin) Kallert, Nicholas (Victoria Carbone) Scotto, Sean Kinneer, Gina Scotto and Marisa Kinneer; three great-grandsons: Damien, Cooper and Julius and another one on the way; four sisters: Evelyn (Robert) Petersen of Chestertown, MD, Deanna Waters of Williamstown, NJ, Loretta (Don) Reiher of Bonita Springs, FL and Mildred Penna of Plymouth Meeting, PA; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a son, John Bosco; five brothers: Joseph, Ralph, Ronald, Theodore and Anthony; and two sisters, Lena Cabot and Rita Grala. Gloria’s Funeral Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11 AM. Her family will receive guests and visitors from 9 to 10:50 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to PanCAN, 2141 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 7000, El Segundo, CA 90245 and/or to a charity of the donor's choice.
