Gloria (Marano) Keen

Gloria (Marano) Keen passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Meadowood Retirement Community in Worcester, PA. She was 88. Mrs. Keen was a resident of Plymouth Meeting, PA. She worked for Markels in Plymouth Meeting and later as a cafeteria worker for Plymouth Elementary School. Gloria was a member of the Young at Hearts Club. She loved ballroom dancing and participated in dance competitions across the country. Gloria played piano from an early age and also played the organ at her church.Born in Norristown, PA on August 14, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Rocco and Anna (DelBuono) Marano. She was the wife of the late Paul A. Keen, Sr., who died in 1989. Surviving is her loving family including a son, Paul A. Keen, Jr. and his wife, Linda, of E. Norriton, PA; a daughter, Desiree Merone and her husband, Biagio "Billy", of Plymouth Meeting, PA; three grandchildren: Jason Keen, Michael Merone and Robert Merone; and four great-grandchildren: Amanda, Nicole, Jaxon and Melina. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard R. Keen.Relatives and friends are invited to Gloria's Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 10:00 am. Her viewing will be Monday from 9 to 9:50 am, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, W.
