Gloria Elaine Kianoury

Gloria KiaNoury, 85, of Jenkintown, PA, passed peacefully on February 15, 2019, while in the company of her loving daughters. Gloria was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 2, 1933, the youngest of 6 children of the late Benedetta (Cortese) and Louis E. Ingenito. Gloria was the devoted wife of the late Dr. Mojtaba KiaNoury, Loving mother of Lida KiaNoury (Robert Zigmund), Dina KiaNoury-Anderson (Eric Anderson) and Claudia Noury-Ello (Conrad Ello). Beloved grandmother to Robert Zigmund, Madeline and Zachary Anderson and Aldo and Bibi Noury-Ello. Gloria was the valedictorian of her Lower Merion High School class and eventually taught in that same school district as an English teacher. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania. Gloria was a stay-at-home mom to her three daughters, actively involved in their education, and a talk-show host, chef, author, political activist, and proud grandmother.
