Gordon J. 'Gordy' Claxton

Gordon J. "Gordy" Claxton passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2014, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 62. Mr. Claxton worked as a computer operator for Sunguard in Wayne, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA on July 31, 1951, he was a son of the late Harold and Catherine (Wright) Claxton. Surviving is his loving family including a son, Gordon Harold Claxton, Jr. and his wife, Erin, of Trooper, PA; a step-son, Robert E. Stanley, Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of Philadelphia, PA; 3 grandsons: James, Gavyn & Ethan; a step-grandson, Lukas; a step-granddaughter, Jessica; many nephews and nieces; and his former wife, Susan M. Silcox of King of Prussia, PA. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Hank, Darryl and Robbie. Relatives and friends are invited to Gordy's Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 1:30 pm.
