Grace P. Staudte

September 15, 1951 — October 3, 2024

Grace C. Staudte (nee Clark) was born on September 15th 1951 in Wilmington Delaware she passed away on October 3rd 2024. Her parents were Howard B. Clark and H. Louise Clark (nee Savin) both originally from Maryland. She had two brothers an older brother David and a younger brother John who passed away a few years ago. She spent most of her first 20 years in the Wilmington suburbs. After her mother was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1958 she became involved in studying the Bible. Grace dedicated her life and was baptized on July 19th 1968 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She was active in the Brandywine Delaware congregation as a regular vacation (auxiliary) pioneer. During a visit with friends in the Wayne congregation she met and later married her husband Paul. Grace and Paul were married on September 9th 1972 at the Brandywine Kingdom Hall. They were members of the Ardmore and Wayne Congregations during their married life.

Grace is survived by her husband of 52 years Paul Staudte. She also leaves behind a daughter Emily Y. Staudte, a son Clark A. Staudte his wife Vanessa and their children Abigail and Ethan, and her older brother David Clark who resides in Berwyn.

Grace enjoyed spending time with her family at home and on vacation. They took several trips to Disneyworld and Williamsburg with family and friends. She loved going to the seashore where she felt at peace watching the ocean.

Grace was an avid reader and had several hobbies that involved artistic pursuits. Her greatest joy came from studying and teaching the Bible truths she learned as an active witness of Jehovah god. She was able to help several individuals to progress to baptism including both of her children. In later years when her health kept her away from door-to-door service she always took any opportunity to speak with the medical personnel that visited her at home.

A memorial service for Grace will be held on Saturday October 26th at 2:00 PM at the West Chester Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 1200 Phoenixville Pike in West Chester PA.
