H. Donald Pasquale of Valley Forge, PA passed away on May 25, 2021 at the age of 79. Born on July 4, 1941 in Norristown, PA to the late Dominick D. and Frances M. (Smolinski); he is survived by his loving wife, Patricia A. (Fonock); his daughter, Elyse A.; his brother, Charles J., and many nephews and nieces. He was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Bridgeport, PA. Donald graduated Upper Merion High School in 1957 as a Class Orator, having served four years as Class President. In 1963, he graduated with a B.A. with Honors in Economics from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, where he played football and was a member of Phi Kappa Sigma. In 1966, Donald received an LLB degree from University of Pennsylvania Law School and was admitted to the PA Bar Association. At Dickinson, Donald enrolled in the R.O.T.C. After receiving his law degree, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He proudly served in the Signal Corps while stationed at Fort Richardson, Anchorage, AK from 1967-1969, where he was promoted to the rank of Captain. After completing his military service, Donald returned to Pennsylvania and practiced general law with the firm Fox, Differ & DiGiacomo. He then partnered with his father and brother, establishing his career in commercial real estate development as a Founding and Managing Partner of Pasquale Real Estate, King of Prussia, PA. Donald was an active, lifetime member of the Republican Party. He served on multiple political committees at both the local and state level, culminating in his 1985 bid for the Republican Nomination as Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania. His business motto was a testament to his work ethic: “TGIM” or, “Thank God It’s Monday.” Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd.; King of Prussia, PA., Thursday, June 10th at 10:30am (Eulogy at 10:15am). Private interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in H.
