Harry E. Beam

Harry E. Beam sadly left us on February 18, 2024 at the age of 88. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 28, 1935, he was the son of the late Harry R. and Marie (nee Ott) Beam. Harry was a current resident of Ann’s Choice in Warminster, PA and a former longtime resident of Mayfair in Philadelphia. He was a parishioner of St. Timothy’s Church for 55 years, where he was very active; and most recently a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord Church. Harry was a proud graduate of North Catholic High School, class of 1953 and a veteran of the U.S. Navy from 1953-1957. He worked at S.O.S Defender (General Sound) for 43 years.

Harry is survived by his beloved wife, Rosemary Ahern Beam. They enjoyed 63 years of marriage. He is also survived by his four children, Harry C. (Joann), Terry Meyers, John (Diane), and Roseanne Gies (Chris); 12 grandchildren, Lauren (Brian), Apryl (Karl), Jacqueline (Mark), Harry J., Michael (Brittany), Julia (Wesley), Daniel (Joselyn), Carissa (Mo), Ashley, Tori (DJ), David, and Ryan; 11 precious great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Harry is preceded in death by his sister, Marie Grilli and her husband, Al.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Harry’s viewing on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 9:30-10:45am at Nativity of Our Lord R.C. Church, 605 Street Rd. Warminster, PA 18974. Words of Remembrance will begin at 10:50am and his Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00am. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Harry’s name can be made to St. Timothy’s Church 3001 Levick St. Philadelphia, PA 19149.

Harry’s family would like to give many thanks to his caring nurse, Nicole, at Abington Hospital’s ICU.
