Harry J. "Bud" McQuaid passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, October 18, 2013 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, Pa. He was 83. Mr. McQuaid was a resident of King of Prussia, Pa. He worked as a retired Machinist for the former Rorer Pharmaceutical Company of Fort Washington, Pa. and International Paper in Philadelphia, Pa. He was a member of St. Augustine R.C. Church, Bridgeport, Pa. and a member of the American Legion. Bud was a US Air force Veteran serving during the Korean War as a Technical Sergeant. Born in Norristown, PA on April 5, 1930, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mabel (Stewart) McQuaid. He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 58 years, Edwina M. "Eddie" (Arthurs) McQuaid; a daughter, Janet E. (John) Hnatin of King of Prussia, Pa.; two sons, Jeffrey J. (Vicki) McQuaid of E. Norriton, Pa. and Christopher I. (Colleen) McQuaid of Royersford, Pa.; seven grandchildren: Brian, Gabrielle, John, Megan, Jeffrey, Logan and Lily. Mr. McQuaid was preceded in death by a son, Richard P. "Ricky" McQuaid and a sister, Milli McQuaid. Relatives & friends are invited to Mr. McQuaid's Funeral Mass at ST. AUGUSTINE R.C. CHURCH, 464 FORD ST., BRIDGEPORT, PA 19405 ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2013 AT 11AM. OFFICIATING will be the REV. JAMES A. LYONS, PAROCHIAL ADMINISTRATOR.
