Alberti, Helen E. (Simms) Helen E. (Simms) Alberti passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Continuing Care at Ann’s Choice, Warminster, PA. She was 85. Formerly of Hilton Head, SC, and Huntingdon Valley, PA, Helen graduated from Colby Sawyer College in New Hampshire, worked in Boston as a secretary until moving with her husband to Connecticut before settling in Montgomery County PA where she raised and supported her family. She loved her family and was an avid reader, enjoyed bridge, crossword puzzles, tennis, golf, and travel. Born in Boston on January 19, 1931, she was the daughter of the late James K. and Mildred H. (Kinkel) Simms. Surviving family include her husband of 61 years, O. William Alberti, Jr.; son William J. Alberti (Patricia) of Jenkintown, PA; daughter Susan Rodriguez (Joseph) of Bellevue, WA; grandchildren Kelly and Catherine, Andrew, and Thomas. She was preceded in death by her brother, James F. Simms of San Jose, CA. Viewing and burial will be private with a Memorial Service at Ann’s Choice Chapel, 30000 Ann’s Choice Way, Warminster, PA, on Friday, January 20, 2017, at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen’s memory may be made to the American Lung Association, the American Diabetes Association, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
