Helen Cleghorn, 93, of Maple Glen, PA passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, peacefully, at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Cleghorn. Loving mother of Leslie, Cynthia, and Laura and devoted grandmother to Colin, Charles, and Jeffrey. Helen H. Cleghorn was a beautiful women who doted on her three daughters and filled our home with music, flowers love and grace. She taught us to take care of all creatures great and small. Helen was actively involved in rescuing cats and made sure they all had loving homes. She was known for her beautiful garden and was a member of the Philadelphia Horticultural Society. Helen loved Christmas and shared that Joy with everyone. Helen believed in the merits of the Salvation Army always giving generously to them. The ocean was a great love of hers and she cherished her family home in Beach Haven where she taught her daughters and grandsons the meaning of taking care of the world around you. Helen's grandsons: Colin, Charles and Jeffrey were the lights of her life. Colin's first words were Pop Pop's Mommy. It is what he lovingly called her and that moniker lives on to this day. Words are not enough to describe how much Helen was loved and no service could do her justice. Helen brought a special light to this world, and all who knew her felt that light, that will live on forever. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Condolences: www.McGoldrickFH.com
