Helen E. "Betty" Hamilton

Helen E. “Betty” Hamilton passed away peacefully on Monday, August 8th, 2022, at the age of 91 with her family by her side. Betty lived most of her life in Philadelphia, PA and later resided in King of Prussia, PA. She was born to the late Letitia Davies and Samuel Cowie on November 7th, 1930. She married her best friend and soulmate, Raymond Hamilton, on September 15th, 1956 in Philadelphia, PA. Betty and Raymond had three children together and raised them with unconditional love, patience, and understanding. She cared deeply for her late younger brother, Tommy, throughout his life. Betty is survived by her three children: Greg Hamilton (Barbara), Cindy Sanford (Ron), and Michaeline Dugan (Jay); her six grandchildren: Alexa Dillon (John), Geoff Hamilton, Sean Dugan (Sammy), Sara Eby (Matt), Veronica Sanford, and Rebecca Sanford; and her two great-grandchildren, Ella Dillon and Jack Dillon. She was also beloved by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Betty has left an everlasting impression on all who knew her. Her warm-hearted, kind, and selfless nature will never be forgotten. Relatives & friends are invited to Betty’s viewing at the Bacchi Funeral Home at 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 8:00-9:45am. Her Funeral Mass will follow at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Road, King of Prussia, PA at 10:30am. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to BrightFocus Foundation (https://support.brightfocus.org/), an organization which funds research for Alzheimer's disease, macular degeneration and glaucoma.
