Helen A. Hughes

Helen A. (Keeler) Hughes passed away peacefully on Monday, August 16, 2021, at her home in W. Norriton, PA. She was 95. Helen loved watching the Phillies and Eagles, going to the casinos, and she was a wiz at crossword puzzles. Most of all, she adored her grandchildren. Born on August 31, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Emma (Smith) Keeler. Surviving is her loving family including 3 daughters: Judith A. (William) Burkett, Rae Ann (Jim Cotton) McMeekin and Susan (James S.) Strouse; 5 grandchildren: William (Lisa), Robert (Marisa), Karen (Eric), Craig (Taura) and Sarah (Jeffrey); and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 4 sisters: Sylvia, Gertrude, Virginia and Ruth; her former husband, Raymond A. Hughes; and a son-in-law, Ian McMeekin. Relatives and friends are invited to Helen’s Graveside Service at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, 352 S. Gulph Road, King of Prussia, PA on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 am.
