Helen Ryan

Helen Ryan passed away peacefully on Friday, June 29, 2018 at HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville, FL. She was 94. Mrs. Ryan was a resident of Ocala, FL. During WWII she helped the war effort by working for a military supply company. She worked for a Yarn and supply company in Philadelphia for many years before going to work for Conrail and retired from the railroad. She also enjoyed playing tennis in her younger years. Born in Bryn Mawr on October 16, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Agnes (Dougherty) Ryan. Surviving are many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Greaves and Mary Dwyer. Relatives and friends are invited to Helen’s Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, Pa 19406 on Monday July 9, 2018 at 10:30 am. Her visitation is Monday from 9:30 to 10:15 am, at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, W. Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers donations can be emailed to, "Catholiccharitiesusa.org."
