Helen M. Zawislack

Helen M. (Marchak) Zawislack passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Mercy Suburban Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. She was 98. Mrs. Zawislack was a resident of E. Norriton, PA. She worked alongside her husband at the family store, the former Zawislack Store in Trooper, PA. After retirement she became a nurse's aide for the former Sacred Heart Hospital in Norristown, PA. Helen loved to crochet and knit, and was devoted to her son, Steven, whom she took loving care of. Born in Conshohocken, PA on November 4, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Steven and Josephine Marczak. Helen was the wife of the late Walter Zawislack. Surviving is her loving family including two sons, Joseph Zawislack and his wife, Patricia, of Phoenixville, PA and Steven Zawislack of E. Norriton, PA; 3 grandchildren: Dia Christie Foden, Joseph and Tim; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Stanley, Frank, Watson, Leo, Mamie, Benjamin, Lottie and Josephine.Relatives & friends are invited to Helen's Funeral Mass at Visitation B.V.M Church, 196 N. Trooper Rd., Trooper, PA on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 10:00 am. Her viewing will be Tuesday morning from 9:15 to 9:45 am, at the church.
