Houshang Max Vahedi

Houshang Max Vahedi, 88, of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Abington-Jefferson Health in Abington. He was born on August 10, 1938, to the late Mariam (Adam) Vahedi and the late Mr. Vahedi. Houshang was a member of St. Hilary of Poitiers Church in Rydal, Pennsylvania, and worked as a medical doctor.

Houshang was the beloved husband of Sweetlana Doris (Marelia) Vahedi. He is survived by his daughter, Monica, wife of Paul Pereira, of New Britain, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica, wife of Brad Cepregi. He was a loving grandfather to Alexa Pereira, Marissa Pereira, and Victoria Cepregi. 

A public visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at St. Hilary of Poitiers in Rydal, Pennsylvania followed by his funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. His interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont, PA.
