Houshang Max Vahedi, 88, of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Abington-Jefferson Health in Abington.Houshang was born on August 10, 1938, to the late Mariam (Adam) Vahedi and the late Mr. Vahedi.He was the beloved husband of Sweetlana Doris (Marelia) Vahedi. Houshang was a member of St. Hilary of Poitiers in Rydal, Pennsylvania, and worked as a medical doctor.Houshang is survived by his daughter, Monica, wife of Paul Pereira, of New Britain, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica, wife of Brad Cepregi.He was a loving grandfather to Alexa Pereira, Marissa Pereira, and Victoria Cepregi.Public visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at St. Hilary of Poitiers in Rydal, Pennsylvania.A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at St. Hilary of Poitiers in Rydal, Pennsylvania.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to [charity information to be provided].Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Pennsylvania.Arrangements are entrusted to McGoldrick Funeral Home.
