Howard A. Eagle, Jr.

Howard A. Eagle, Jr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA. He was 85. Mr. Eagle was a resident of Boyertown, PA and was formerly of West Chester, PA and King of Prussia, PA. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Master’s Degree in engineering and worked as an Aeronautical Engineer for the former GE in King of Prussia, PA, for 40 years. After retiring, he volunteered at the Helicopter Museum in West Chester. Howard loved music and formed his own orchestra in high school. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, stamp collecting and crossword puzzles. Howard adored his wife, children and grandchildren. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 27, 1930, he was a son of the late Minnie (Fitzer) Eagle. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 65 years, Patricia A. (Kidwell) Eagle; two daughters, Judith A. Paladini and her husband, Rene, of Boyertown, PA and Joanne Moore and her husband, Neil, of Exton, PA; a daughter-in-law, Paula Eagle of Malvern, PA; eight grandchildren: Jeffrey (Heidi) Rega, Kelly (Michael) Prutzman, Michael Rega (Stephanie Yeager), Cari, Daniel & Samuel Moore, and Madeline & Hannah Eagle; two great-granddaughters, Jordan Rega and Mia Prutzman. He was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph H. and Jeffrey D. Eagle. Howard’s Memorial Gathering will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 10 to 11:00 am. Interment will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia.
