Inez Helen McGinty

Inez Helen McGinty, 89, of Huntingdon Valley, PA, formerly of Jenkintown, PA, died on Friday, November 18, 2022, having completed her good and faithful earthly life.

Inez was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 7, 1933, daughter of the late Dorothy (McSorley) and Edward Philip McArdle, and sister to the late Edward P. McArdle, Jr. .

Raised in Rhawnhurst, Philadelphia, Inez attended Resurrection of Our Lord Elementary School, St Hubert Catholic High School for Girls, and The University of Pennsylvania.

She was the widow of her beloved John “Jack” Aloysius McGinty, Jr.. Inez and Jack were married for 41 years before his death in November of 2002. A devoted mother, she is survived by their children, John Andrew McGinty, Paul McGinty and Susan, Darcy Schenk and Chris. She was also blessed with seven grandchildren, Max, Samantha, Philip, Maggie, Adelaide, Will and Lucy.

There will be a public Visitation from 9 AM to 10:15 AM and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, both on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Immaculate Conception BVM Church, 602 West Avenue in Jenkintown, PA.

Her Interment will be private at Holy Cross Cemetery, on Saturday November 26th.
